The Masked Singer Reveals Who Rivals Medusa on ABBA Night

Medusa is well into Week 2 of Season 9 of The Masked Singer. Now the show reveals who she will be competing against, as contestants pay tribute to ABBA.

The Masked Singer season 9 will host ABBA Night in its second week, and the rivalry for Week 1 winner Medusa has now been revealed. Medusa defeated the dwarf and the mustang to advance to the next round. Gnome turns out to be legendary actor Dick Van Dyke, and Mustang is country music superstar Sara Evans. While Medusa's identity remains a secret, clues have pointed in the direction of singer Bishop Briggs or Fergie.

In a promo shared on Instagram, The Masked Singer revealed two new characters who will compete against Medusa on ABBA Night: Night Owl and Rock Lobster.

As the Masked Singer season 9 preview kicks off, host Nick Cannon announces: "The Masked Singer is back!" After a brief nod to the "Legends" season premiere, the promo invites fans to "celebrate the One of the bands "ABBA. Night Owl is singing a chorus to one of ABBA's biggest hits, "Fernando."

Masked Singer's Night Owl & Rock Lobster Compete Against Medusa

The Masked Singer clip continues to tease "the most out-of-control character yet" Rock Lobster. In the clip, rock lobsters dance on stage. Panelist Jenny McCarthy said, "I love him!" after Nicole Schulzinger yells, "Where did he go?!" In addition to the characters, the video shows the panelists, including Jenny, Nicole, Robin Thicke, and Ken Jeong, dancing around in iconic outfits and hairstyles from the era. 70's style dance.

The Masked Singer's ABBA Night is sure to go down as one of the greatest theme nights in the history of the singing competition series. The Masked Singer's Night Owl and Rock Lobster complete the mission in the match against Medusa. Her enigmatic performance on Billie Eilish's "Happier Than Ever" and Rihanna's rendition of "Diamonds" on Battle Royale ) detonated the scene. However, based on the Night Owl's singing in the clip, she may be competing with Medusa.
