With the Fantastic Four reboot scheduled for release in 2025, production is expected to begin in 2024. But before that, casting has to happen, and it appears the search for these four icons is about to begin. According to Deadline reporter Justin Kroll, Marvel Studios intends to cast Sue Storm first and then other actors. The team revolves around who takes the role of the Invisible Woman. Currently, Marvel Studios has not commented on the casting report for the Fantastic Four.

According to Feige, the MCU's vision of the Fantastic Four was set when the Fantastic Four appeared on the big screen. While it will be a reboot, Feige clarified that the Marvel Studios project won't be an original story. So far, no age range has been clarified regarding this incarnation of the Fantastic Four.

Although John Krasinski played Reed Richards in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, don't expect him to return to Mister Fantastic. After fans had been suggesting Krasinski as Reed for years, Feige decided to implement the idea as an interesting one-off in the Doctor Strange franchise. However, the plan never had him playing Earth-616's version of the Fantastic Four heroes. With Shackman tapped as the reboot's director, he'll now begin putting together his own Fantastic Four cast.
