'The Foundation' Season 2 Trailer: Holy War Comes This Summer
The second crisis is about to begin.

Apple TV+ released the first trailer and release window for Season 2 of the epic sci-fi novel The Foundation based on the literature of Isaac Asimov. The story tells the story of a group of rebels who challenge the Galactic Empire to prevent the destruction of humanity.
Foundation season 1 follows psychohistorian Jared Harris as he comes up with a formula that perfectly predicts the end of the Galactic Empire and the destruction of human society. To preserve knowledge and ensure that humanity can thrive in the future, Hari helped found the Foundation, a group of rebels who would rebel against the Empire should those in power refuse to heed Hari's warnings. The series spans hundreds of years as multiple groups struggle to control the destiny of humanity.
New trailer focuses on the sacrifices of the Foundation, emphasizing how they left their homes and lives to achieve their goals. However, their mission is far from over, as the Foundation still has to rebuild society after the fall of the Empire. In Season 2, the Foundation will face a religious crisis as leaders begin to use God's Word to control the empire.

To represent the expansion of religion in season 2 of The Foundation, the show will introduce a new cast. In the upcoming second season, Isabella Laughland will play Brother Constant, a priest whose job it is to evangelize the Galactic Spirit Church throughout Outland. Another new religious character is Kulvinder Ghir's "Poly Verisof," a cynical high priest of the Galactic Spiritual Church with a drinking problem. Season 2 also joins Sandra Yi Sencindiver, Ella-Rae Smith, Dimitri Leonidas, Ben Daniels, Holt McCallany, Mikael Persbrandt, Rachel House and Nimrat Kaur.
