New 'Oppenheimer' Look Shows Cillian Murphy's Vibrant Side

When it comes to movies to get audiences excited about in 2023, two of the blockbusters are Barbie and Oppenheimer. Mainly because they all come out on the same day. That means any new look at the movie will get fans excited, and new photos of star Cillian Murphy playing J. Robert Oppenheimer in the Christopher Nolan film are no exception. Add to that the cast of Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Jack Quaid, Emily Blunt and more, and it's no wonder fans are so excited.
This photo, released in USA TODAY's exclusive coverage of the upcoming 2023 film, shows Murphy in profile, wearing a hat, this time in color. The film, which is partially black and white and in color, has released many images of Murphy similar to this one, but each one is exciting because they just tease more of what we can expect from the iconic director and his All-Stars line-up.
While many of Nolan's works push your ideas about time, relativity, etc., Oppenheimer joins the ranks of Nolan's films, such as Dunkirk, which tell The story of a historical moment that many may not know well. We know what happened to the atomic bomb, but not necessarily how it was created, and seeing Oppenheimer -- which includes a live-action version of the bomb -- will bring new perspective to viewers who may not be familiar with the history.

Since The Prestige, Nolan has managed to attract a wide variety of fans to his films. From superhero films to higher-concept films to films firmly rooted in history like "Dunkirk" and "Oppenheimer," Nolan's films have always managed to create a sense of breathlessness. The tension makes the audience linger every time.
In addition to Murphy, the film has a truly amazing star-studded cast including Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek and Ben Nisafdi.
The released footage of Murphy is in line with what we've seen from the film so far, but it's just another testament to how excited people are about the film, a simple image of Murphy standing with a hat on is enough to keep viewers All the hype for Nolan's work.
