What Is the Story of Murder Mystery 2?

From the first movie, we learn about the couple and how they function (more like dysfunction) with each other. Nick Spitz is an NYPD officer who has long been working his way up to detective. His wife, Audrey, is a hairstylist and a big fan of murder mysteries. They've been married for 15 years, but they've never achieved the cosmopolitan, lavish honeymoon they planned, or at least not the one Nick promised his wife. Finally, on their 15th anniversary, they managed to make their travel dream come true. But luckily, their postponed honeymoon turns into a chaotic journey filled with murder and mayhem, and their vacation turns into a crime-solving expedition.
The sequel is set sometime after the first film, with Nick and Audrey now working as private investigators and owning an agency. After the thrilling experience of their previous trip, Spitz decided to solve crimes full-time. But without enough cases and customers, it's hard to keep the business going. Meanwhile, their friend Maharaja is about to get married and, for better or worse, is kidnapped at his own wedding. The detective duo sees this as a great opportunity to make their agency famous and make money off of it if they can solve a case.
