How to watch 'Yellowstone': Where to watch the Kevin Costner series?
There's a reason everyone's obsessed with this addictive western soap opera.
You've probably heard many, many people talk about it, but if you're still wondering how to watch Yellowstone, you're not alone. Gaining massive popularity since it first premiered on the Paramount Network in 2018, the addictive western series introduced viewers to Kevin Costner's patriarch as he tries to maintain control of the land and family on a Montana ranch. The World of Control, but since it's not streaming on traditional networks some people are having a hard time finding it – and finding streaming locations so they can catch up. Kevin Costner stars as John Dutton Jr., the sixth-generation Dutton patriarch who presides over a huge pastures and lots of land. The story is an epic, gritty family saga in the same vein as "The Godfather" or "Ozark," focusing on the different political machinations involved in keeping the Duttons on top.
What Is Yellowstone About?
Various members of the Dutton family who lived at John's Ranch complicate matters. John's youngest son, Keith (Luke Grimes), is a former Navy SEAL who marries a Native American woman and has a son, which brings John Dutton into a relationship with the Americans who live near the reservation. Land disputes among Aboriginal peoples have worsened. Then there's John's son Jamie (Wes Bentley), a lawyer and aspiring politician who helps John take control of the sociopolitical sphere in Montana. And John's daughter, Beth (Kelly Reilly), a financier with a substance abuse problem.
There are currently four full seasons of Yellowstone, with Season 5 currently on a mid-season break. All 9 episodes of season 1 were written and directed by show creator Tyler Sheridan, who also wrote all 10 episodes of season 3 and all 10 episodes of season 4. The final episode of season 4 was released on January 2, 2022. Yellowstone season 5 premiered on Sunday, November 13, 2022. The midseason finale, Season 5, Episode 8, "A Knife and No Coins," aired on January 1, 2023.
How Many Seasons Are There?
Although we don't have a specific date yet Yellowstone is returning to the screens for the second half of Season 5, which we know will hit theaters sometime in summer 2023. ^Yes, if you own Peacock Premium or Peacock Premium. When Is Yellowstone Season 5 Coming Back?
If your cable subscription includes the Paramount Network, you can watch Yellowstone on the channel or on demand through your cable provider when it airs. Season 1 aired from June to August 2018, season 2 from June to August 2019, and season 3 from June to August 2020. Season 4 of the latest season airs in November From July 2021 to January 2022. Yellowstone Season 5 and The Kings of Tulsa's first episode opens on October 29, 2022 in more than 100 AMC theaters ahead of its streaming premiere.
Is Yellowstone Streaming?

Yellowstone hasn't been renewed for season 6, but given the show's popularity, it's definitely a possibility. If you're looking for more Yellowstone content, the show also spawned the prequel series Y: 1883, which tells the origin story of the Dutton family, also created by Taylor Sheridan. 1883 premieres on Paramount+ on December 19, 2021. The first season will consist of 10 episodes and end on February 26, 2022. There is also another spin-off series, 1923, starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. Although that was also set in the past (especially During Prohibition), we have another show on the way called 6666 that will focus on today's Four Six Ranch. 1923 comes to Paramount+ on December 18, 2022, and new episodes are currently airing, while 6666 has no release date yet.
Where Does Yellowstone Air?
Understandably, at this point you might be a little confused about where to watch new episodes. Yellowstone season 5 follows the same release schedule as season 4. That means the season won't air Next Day episodes on any of the services in the US, but instead airs exclusively on the Paramount Network each week. After that, the season is expected to be released on Peacock shortly after the season finale.
